Dr. Celina Low Jones
A victim of childhood trauma who overcame multiple emotional-mental injuries, Celina is an evidence-based mindfulness trainer, certified trauma professional, and certified yoga instructor. She believes that mindfulness-based whole-person development helps us manage daily stressors at their roots. Celina has more than 10 years of experience mentoring adults and youth in building emotional and mental resilience for greater career/school, relationship and overall life satisfaction. Celina holds a doctorate and master’s degree in early childhood development with an emphasis on mental health and developmental disorders from Fielding Graduate University in California. She is also a certified facilitator for Strengthening Families Program, an evidence-based preventive family program. She holds a certificate in mindfulness-based psychotherapy from the Nalanda Institute in New York, a graduate diploma in media studies from Australia, as well as a bachelor’s degree in political science, and professional certifications in commercial law and public relations, from Singapore. Celina’s mindfulness practice includes playing quartz crystal singing bowls, daily meditation, and qigong yoga. She also enjoys forest bathing, American frozen custard, and Singapore laksa, a traditional flavorful spicy noodle dish.
